Better Item Sorting
So I’m playing Fallout 4 right now and recently I’ve started to try to role play a little bit to make the game feel a bit more realistic and I think it is helping me appreciate it more. One thing I’ve done is start thinking of time and distance you travel as more of a synopsis, which makes it make more sense to me.
- This mod renames items with tag prefixes so that they will sort better in the inventory. The vision behind the sorting method is to: 1) Group like items together (notes, holotapes, keys, food, chems, etc) 2) Sort the most commonly used items near the top for easy accessibility.

Stuff this mod sorts:
[Materials] (“Raw” material like Steel and other items that can be used for crafting aswell.
[Caps] (Pre-War Money, so you don’t scrap it ^^ )
[Holotapes and Notes] (Grouped together because the wikipage I used to find them in the file had them grouped and to save time. I also noticed the wikia missed many of them so i tried to search the file and add as many as i could find)
[Keys] (Keys i could find in the file)
Important!
This mod works by changing the language translation file some items had several strings in this file e.g. Steel had 4 lines and i changed them all to [Material] Steel, so far i haven’t detected any problems and it’s easy to uninstall the mod if you start seeing the [TAGS] in places they shouldn’t be. There may also be Keys and Notes etc i have missed.

Installing:
1.Backup your existing Fallout 4DataStringsFallout4_en.STRINGS file. (I have also uploaded the original file)
2.Extract the folder to your Fallout 4 directory.
Uninstalling:
1. Replace Fallout 4DataStringsFallout4_en.STRINGS with your backup. (or the original in the file section)
