Subnautica is an open world underwater exploration and construction game. We are Unknown Worlds, the developers of Natural Selection 2, and Subnautica is our new project. Subnautica will combine elements of role playing, sandbox, exploration and cinematic games to create a unique experience, the genre of which we do not believe has yet been. Oct 10, 2018 Mods & Mac - posted in General Subnautica Discussion: Ive noticed there are now some Subnautica mods for those of us using the Mac version of the game. Exactly how do I install those mods? Ive not found any instructions about this and nothing Ive tried works.

Subnautica is a visually beautiful undersea survival and exploration game set in an alien world and created by the aptly named Unknown Worlds, the developers behind the excellent Natural Selection 2.
The game begins with you crash landing in the ocean of an unknown planet and all you have is a small escape pod with some first aid materials and a small crafting table. You must venture out into the ocean, far from shore, and gather as many materials as you can to build survival gear and cook food. The most interesting thing about this game is that the game teaches you how to do pretty much nothing. You have as much knowledge as your actual character does. You feel like this character, the game doesn’t hold your hand or teach you much. It’s up to you to figure everything out.
